Everyone in the family is really important to us at St George’s, and that includes children and young people. To help them learn, understand and grow their faith we run a number of activities on Sundays and other days of the week.

Godly Play - Every Sunday at 10:05 am for ½ hour

An interactive time of Bible-based activity for children aged from 3 to 14 years. Godly Play takes place during the Sunday morning Eucharist. Children normally join us for the first part of the service, before leaving for Godly Play. They return to the main service at Communion and receive a blessing. For more information please check the Godly Play page of this website.

Distinctive - Last Sunday of each month at 5.00 pm for 1 hour

A group for young people of secondary school age with some level of Christian faith. The name reflects the distinctive life that Jesus lived. Each of our meetings starts with dinner, during which we have a catch up of what everyone's been doing since we last met. Then we talk about any things which may challenge our faith, things that crop up in our everyday lives which might present us with a dilemma: do we go with the crowd or consider WWJD?  That is 'What Would Jesus Do?'
