Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting. - Psalm 147:1

St. George’s Church Choir sings at the Sunday Morning Parish Eucharist, some Choral Evensongs and major Festival Services throughout the year.

We work with a Choir Director and a Church Organist and are mainly a ladies choir but have a men’s section.

For services, we wear maroon gowns which we designed ourselves and had made for us. We are a friendly group and welcome new members, ladies and gentlemen, who can sing. We would love to be a fully mixed SATB choir which would widen our choice of repertoire.

Choir Practices are on Thursday evening from 7.30pm – 9pm in the church.

Most recently we were joined by friends to sing Haydn’s “Little Organ Mass” for a special St. George’s Celebration Week Service and enjoyed singing a variety of songs for an evening Supper Concert.

For more information about the Choir or about becoming a member please contact the Choir Director.
